NRC Draft: How to Check Name in NRC List?

All the eligible applicant’s name who submitted NRC Application form will be included in the draft list. The list contains names of Indian citizens of Assam. The NRC Draft list has been divided into two parts, they are Part Draft and Complete Draft. Here, we will discuss how you can check the name in NRC Assam Draft List at the nrcdrafts.com website.

The updated NRC Draft will be published by the Government of Assam in all the villages where the Application Forms were issued and received. The draft NRC list will be available for public viewing in NRC Seva Kendras. That’s not all, you can also check the list by providing your ARN from official website nrcdrafts.com. There are two other ways also, through SMS and Toll-Free Number.

Part Draft NRC

A part of a draft NRC containing 1.9 crore names of a total of 3.29 crore applicants was published on 31st December 2017. Rest of the eligible applications name will be included in the Complete Draft which will publish on 30th July 2018.

Complete NRC Draft

As per Supreme Court order, the verification of family trees and the documents of married women has to be completed by May 31. You check if NRC Assam Hearing for verification against your ARN is required by visiting nrcassamhearing.in website. Once verification is completed, the complete NRC Draft will be published for public viewing. After that, the applicants will get a chance to submit claims, objections, corrections etc.

  • Enter ARN (Application Receipt Number) and Captcha
  • Now hit the “Search” button
  • Wait for few seconds
  • The NRC Draft list will appear on your screen
  • If your name is listed on the Complete Draft that means you will see your name in the Final NRC which will be released soon.
  • If your name is not listed and you are a genuine Indian citizen of Assam then don’t worry, you will soon be able to Submit Claims.
